catechism course
The Catechism Course (10-week series of talks) is conducted three times a year at Saint Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church Blacktown, for those preparing to enter the Orthodox Church (Catechumens), where they are exposed to the beauty of the Orthodox Faith based on the Holy Scriptures and the Tradition of the Church.

Week 1: Introduction to Orthodoxy (general overview)
Week 2: Historical outline of the Eastern Orthodox Church
Week 3: The Nicene Creed
Week 4: What we believe about Jesus Christ
Week 5: What we believe about the Holy Trinity
Week 6: The Divine Liturgy
Week 7: Inside the Orthodox Church (practical aspect)
Week 8: The Sacraments (part 1)
Week 9: The Sacraments (part 2)
Week 10: Conclusion - "Living in Christ"
